Why Creighton is famous
Creighton is an underground nickel-copper mine in the Sudbury Basin, Ontario. Vale's 2025 annual report dates its Sudbury underground operations to 1885, with a Vale interest of 90 per cent and reserves projected to last to 2046 or 2047. The 1885 date applies to the Sudbury complex, not to Creighton alone.1,2
