Why Pasto Bueno is famous
Pasto Bueno is a tungsten mine in the Ancash region of Peru. A Peruvian news agency report from about 2011 says the Consuzo sector was the main mining focus in the 1970s, when a plant treating 1,000 tonnes a day ran. The Loreto vein has historic production of 1.95 Mt of ore at 0.95% WO3. Drilling in 2010 found a high-grade zone at depth, and Malaga partly reopened the old workings in 2010. Current status is not stated.1
